COVID-19 Update

Hello Redbirds Family,

Just sharing some of our plans moving forward as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are concerned about personal health and safety of our players, their families and our coaching staff. As a result we have decided to suspend practices for this coming weekend (March 14/15).

After reviewing many different sources of info and advisements, this is the decision we have made that we feel is in the best interest of all parities involved. An update will come out on Monday morning with the action plan for next week.

Please remember the following to keep yourself and others safe and healthy- To minimize the spread of any virus Alberta Health Services recommends the following:

  • Make sure everyone in your household washes their hands with soap and water often. (Alcohol-based sanitizers are an alternative).
  • Stay at home if you feel unwell or are sick. If your children are sick, keep them home from school.
  • Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
  • NO sharing of water bottles
  • Use a tissue when you cough or sneeze and wash your hands immediately.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces that are used often and shared by everyone in your home. Spray gear with disinfectant spray

Thank you for your continued support. As developments unfold both globally and locally regarding COVID-19, we will provide ongoing updates.
